Communication is everything and everywhere. As a writer, I have a wealth of experience in creating content for both general and academic audiences. I’ve been scribbling away since I was 8 years old – most of it not for public consumption unfortunately! Nevertheless, my portfolio of publications is forever growing.
In my work as a librarian and historian, creating readable reports is part of the job. Being structured and methodical is essential, as is having an eye for detail to spot that one spelling mistake. As a result of my research, I’ve also written interpretation panels and leaflets.
Besides, I enjoy playing with words to get the best results.
As a writer, how can I help?
Writing reports, articles, interpretation panels, online content – I know how to write for different audiences and how to present information in a straightforward way.
- Policy documents relating to the heritage or libraries sector
- Exhibition content or site interpretation – from panels to leaflets
- Online content: websites, blog posts, social media updates
Although sometimes you just need the fresh pair of eyes to create a text with impact or to realise that perhaps an image says more than words.
Why not get in touch if you’d like to know how I can help you with your project?
